Barskey Properties is committed to providing every person, including persons with disabilities, with full and equal access to the barskey.co.il website, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Services), 5773-2013.

Current Accessibility Level

The website complies with Israeli Standard 5568 Part 1 at level AA — the Israeli adoption of W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines. Selected WCAG 2.1 AA criteria have also been incorporated for an even higher level of accessibility.

How the Site Was Made Accessible

  • Valid semantic HTML structure for screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
  • Full keyboard navigation throughout the site with visible focus indicators
  • "Skip to main content" link that appears on first Tab press
  • Alternative (alt) text for property images and logos
  • ARIA labels for buttons, menus, and form fields
  • Standard color contrast (4.5:1 or higher for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Full support for Hebrew (RTL) and English (LTR) directionality
  • Touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels (WCAG 2.5.5)
  • Accessible mobile hamburger menu with aria-expanded states
  • No flashing or animations that could cause epileptic seizures

How to Operate the Accessible Site

The accessibility menu is available from the bottom-left corner of every page. Tap the icon to open the menu; close with another tap or by pressing Esc. Your preferences are saved on your device and applied automatically on future visits.

Available menu options:

  • Increase and decrease text size (80%–150%)
  • High contrast
  • Grayscale (for color-blind users)
  • Underline links
  • Larger mouse cursor
  • Stop animations
  • Increased line spacing
  • Increased letter spacing
  • More readable font (Arial)
  • Reset all settings

Keyboard shortcuts: Tab — move between interactive elements. Shift+Tab — move backwards. Enter / Space — activate. Esc — close menus and dialogs.

Our office at Tchelet Mordechai 21, Pninat Hemed, Romema — accessible appointments can be arranged in advance by phone or email.

Content Not Yet Fully Accessible — and Alternative Ways to Get the Information

We are working on continuous improvement. The following elements may currently be only partially accessible:

  • Property image descriptions sourced from an external management system (Webtiv) — alt text quality depends on the provider's data.
  • The AI digital agent (chat) — Hebrew AI-generated responses have been manually reviewed; feedback is welcome.

Alternative ways to get the information:

If you encounter any difficulty getting information from the site — for any reason — we are available by phone at 02-9-400500 or by email at b9400500@gmail.com and will provide the information directly in whichever channel suits you (phone, email, WhatsApp, or in-person meeting at the office).

Accessibility Reviews

The website was last reviewed for accessibility in May 2026 as part of an internal review, including contrast checks, keyboard navigation, and manual mobile-device testing. We continue to improve accessibility on an ongoing basis, and this statement will be updated upon any material change to the website and at least once a year.
